A Vote for Santa Claus

The Roman religion, based on the Roman calendar, is a combination of irreconcilable opposites whose manifestation is celebrated in the dead of winter, Christmas, and in the springtime—Easter. In the winter when darkness pervades the earth the Roman religion celebrates with happiness and giving, but in the spring amid the new flowers the celebration is as somber as death. Given the extensive use of the cross it is obvious death has won out over life. Things would be much better if people prayed to Santa Clause instead of the cross.

Just think if instead of the solemnity and guilt inspired by the cross there was the smiling image of Santa Claus with a bag full of goodies and atop each steeple tower a chimney acting as a conduit between the goodness of heaven and the needy of the earth. There is another attribute of Santa Claus which is very important—he does not exist; like God, Santa Claus is neither a physical being nor a spiritual entity and thus is able to be everywhere for everyone all the time just like God.

The cross, a sign of mortality, should be paraded out once a year just to mellow the happiness of life by injecting the ultimate fact its demise—death. Such a society based upon happiness would inspire good deeds and giving throughout the world—a new kind of foreign policy. Also, spiritually Santa Claus is closer to the truth than the cross. The cross represents the strength drawn from the planet Mars—Ancient Rome’s patron god; the idea of Santa Clause is beyond the furthest reaches of reason thus ultimately closer to the truth.

According to the Rambam, compiler of Jewish Law 1000 years ago, when teaching a child or one whose ability to understand has not yet matured it is permissible to teach them using mythical representations of the Creator; for example, the Rambam suggests teaching about God to children as though God were a happy old man with a white beard and long curly locks of hair—Santa Claus. Since religion, the assemblage of confused peoples, is based upon dogma which need not have any semblance to truth the obvious conclusion is that Santa Claus is much more beneficial to the populous than is the cross.

In our time when everything is legislated Santa Claus has been left out in the cold without a sled, while the religion of the cross consumes the spoils of confusion. Death is an unfortunate fact of life, but it’s not all that bad; death is a transition between earth and heaven just as birth is a transition between heaven and earth. Since the story of the cross is no more credible than the story of Santa Claus—not one shred of evidence has been uncovered over 2000 years corroborating the story of the cross—the bearer of gifts should take precedent over the sign of death.

The reason why the cross has become predominant over Santa Claus is because of the unfair tax exemption given to the Cross who hordes its wealth exemplifying death by taking everything owns the majority of land in the world, while Santa Claus receives no benefit since Santa is pure kindness giving without hesitation, reflecting the goodness of the Creator and the worthiness of the children of creation.

The Crossites with their mean story about how god came down to earth dressed as a Jew to be tortured to death at the insistence of the rabbis has been the cause for the 2000 year old war against the Jewish People whose numbers remain decimated and who in every generation must fight for survival.

I vote for Santa Claus.
